Actually, I already saw Mona. Jealous?
You should be jealous. Of Mona. You can only wish you were showered with my awkward social graces.
Mona and I knew each other in elementary school and junior high. And by knew each other, I mean we knew each others' names. Ten years after jr. high and Mona and I reconnected through blogging. But for the last seven years that we've been friends, this past weekend was the first time we've seen each other in person. It's not like I could hop in a car and drive to Seattle.
Mona is funny. She's funny on her blog, she's funny in person, and she's funny on stage. Last Saturday, she was funny at my house. And this Friday she'll be funny at Naked Fish!
Did you buy your ticket yet? Because if you haven't, I'm pretty sure you're out of luck.
