Yesterday we had Thanksgiving lunch AND dinner. That was a lot of food.

I cooked my first ham yesterday. It was 24 pounds of deliciousness. I'm cooking one every year from now on.

I'm thankful for Thanksgiving leftovers. Yuuuummmmmy.

I'm also thankful that God has never let me go, he has always provided for me and my family and he has always kept us safe. I rely on him for everything.

I have given this day back to my God.

Today is much better.

I'm drinking a Cherry Coke. I know, I know...it's not diet and it's not caffiene free, but today - neither am I.

Don't buy me juice....

Wow, today was a bad day. The title of this post is based on how I feel today - although the only two people who will understand what the title means will probably never read this blog.

I almost got into an accident. Similar to the one that I almost got into last week. It wasn't my fault. It's because I'm a good driver who observes traffic laws, while most of the other drivers on island think they can do whatever they want on the road since the cops rarely pull people over. The government could have a lot more money if only people were pulled over and fined for the traffic violations they commit.

BF

Breastfeed. Breastfed. Breastfeeding. Breastfeeder.

I wish people would stop telling me that I'll have to switch to formula soon. I'm not gonna. Katelyn Rebecca is a happy, healthy, big, beautiful, strong, not overweight, breastfed baby.

Formula should be given by prescription only. For those who have medical reasons to not breastfeed or if they are adoptive mothers.

My daughter has never had a fever or a cold. She only had a stuffy nose once when everyone else in the house had the flu. This is because I breastfeed her.

And don't tell me that because you (well, maybe not you, but some people) stuffed more formula than was needed down your kids' throats, thereby causing them to over eat and become overweight, that I need to start buying formula and doing the same. No, sir. I'm intellegent, I've done my research, my baby is doing fine. She eats baby cereal, carrots (home made baby food), and breastmilk. Next week she'll try tofu, and the week after that she'll try bananas. I still make plenty of milk, just because I can't pump as much as I used to doesn't mean the only alternative is to feed her formula. Breast is best.

Formula wasn't around back in the day. It must blow people's minds when they think about how babies were fed in days before formula - It's a miracle that any babies survivied without it a hundred years ago (I scoff as I write this).

Because of the casual attitudes toward child nutrition, it's rare to see women, especially women my age, breastfeeding their babies. So Renee (if by chance you've found my blog), I'm so proud of you. I'm so glad you made sacrifices to give your daughter the breast, oops, I mean best.

Don't tell anyone....

Today is my birthday.

Hey Ya.

When my phone rings, people start to dance. "1, 2, 3, 4, my baby don't mess around, because she loves me so and this I know...." "Hello?" The dancing stops.

I would call this post "Random" if I lived in Laguna Beach

I'm so sick of eatin' oatmeal and smellin' like maple syrup. Malongai leaves do nothing for me.

Please, people - why can't we all just follow the rules of the road. Here are a few tips:

1. If you are going to turn into traffic (especially if you are making a right) and there is a line of 4 cars, wait for the fourth car to pass before pulling out. There really is no need to pull out in front of that last car when there is no space to safely do so.

2. Pull out with confidence. Don't be like a friend of mine who is extremely non-committal. I honestly thought I was going to die several times while riding with this person. When making left turns, she often pulls out half-way and freaks out (when there is ample room, mind you) then just freezes on the road with traffic coming straight for her car. !!And then gets mad at the drivers of the oncoming cars when they honk at her!!

3. Don't run red lights. This endangers you and other drivers. And if you're a cop - for goodness sake - enforce the law.

4. Pedestrians - just because you're a pedestrian doesn't mean you can do anything you want. When you are in the wrong - you are in the wrong.

5. Cyclists are supposed to ride with the flow of traffic, not against it.

I suppose this is enough for now.

What up, yo?

My flashdrive's keychain attachment broke. How sad.

Oh my! I almost got in a car accident at lunch time. I was heading across the intersection (I had a green light) and this white 4-runner makes a right turn in front of me (there was enough room for the 4-runner) and this red sedan tries to squeeze in and I nearly smashed into the driver. My goodness!! This person was wrong to do that. I slammed on my brakes and was blaring the horn and the car stopped. I came so close to hitting him/her. I would have had a bit of damage, but believe me, my 2004 Explorer would have smashed the crud out of that sedan. Come on people....there is no reason to put our lives in danger just cause you wanna be in front of me. (please see a few driving tips of mine posted above - especially number 1)

Now I'm hungry.

I don't know why I buy Corn Soup that's not from Calvo's - it's never as good.

(the light in my office keeps flickering)

I am...

I am Chamolinaole. Or should I say Anglochamolinian?
So is my daughter Chamolinaolepino or Filanglochamolinian?

Whatever I am, I am a child of God.
